Very Good Quality of Education

24 January 2012

I have written about my wish to live in the province a lot of times already. One, because life in the province is so much easier. Two, because pollution is almost nil there. But because the good schools are here in Manila, that wish won't turn into a reality yet.

I did go to school there. I remember the pergola where we study or eat during free time, but not even a quarter as big as my son's school. It's not actually because of the size. I'm a bit concerned with the quality of education. Not as good as that of the schools here in Manila, and that school is considered one of the top schools in our province.

UP Quezon Hall
I did pass the UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admission Test), Bachelor of Science in Math. But I had a hard time catching up with my blockmates. What they considered as review lessons, I've never encountered, it was never taught at my school in the province. I had to study doubly hard to catch up with the lessons.

Because of that experience, we have to endure living in the polluted and noisy city of Metro Manila to give the best quality of education that my son needs for him to have an edge in the future. The schools here are way better than that in the province.

With today's technology, we can teach the children more than what the school staff teach them :)

Schools that provide quality education is always something to talk about. :) They are rare and few.

When I was younger every time I go to Manila I always get sick, I just can't take the pollution, it's too much for me. In college I never considered manila i know i wont last there but i value education so i enrolled at saint Louis Universtity in Baguio City and I love my stay there I'm such a nature lover. But when it's time to work... Hehe I ended up in makati... ;( 3 years of enduring 3 to 5 hours traffic from pasay to Ayala to pasay... Flooding every rainy season plus snatchers plus pollution... Nah I resigned and applied work back home... And loved every minute if it.. ;)

Not really. Some of the best schools can be found now in provinces. Anyway, I miss my high school too, we used to eat and study in a Pergola. LOL.

I know that quality education is very expensive in the Philippines and most schools offers quality education is in the city centre. They knew people in the city can afford their rates. There are people in provinces move in the city just to give quality education for their kids like you. Your kids are very lucky.

...am from the province of Quezon myself... parents opted for me to study in Manila too! But my brothers were all educated in the province! I guess, to each his own..because they were board passes too (1st time takers).. and were living real good!
