Because my son studies in a Chinese-Catholic school, he has a free day tomorrow in celebration of Chinese New Year. They have a whole day pre-New Year celebration today at his school. He's one happy boy because he doesn't have homework for two straight days!
Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone!

Happy New Year :) I always could use a holiday at this time of year, but so far it looks like Chinese New Year will pass unnoticed here. Although, come to think of it, we have a fairly big Chinese community, I wonder it there will be any public celebrations.
I found out that there will be a public Lantern Festival and I think I will visit it.
Happy New Year! Enjoy your celebration.
