citisec online application

I started investing in mutual funds a few years back. I even encouraged my sisters to invest also. They gave in, after hours of my non-stop talking about investing, stocks, etc. Then I got curious with "playing the market" on my own, I opened an online stock account.

This month, I opened another stock account with another online stockbroker. I became excited because the market is now recovering. I asked the agent to make it an ITF (in trust for) account for my son. They delivered the application form and after 5 months (I got so busy with other things, like umm blogging) I called and asked their messenger to pick up the signed forms.

We opened a joint account by the way, because ITF is not available withthe said online stockbrokerage firm.

mobility solution for people with disability

People with mobility challenge, as well as caregivers who need assistance to help transport someone with a disability, can now rejoice! Why? Because automotive transportation solutions are now available for them. Thanks to NMEDA.

NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of Mobility Dealers, Manufacturers and Rehabilitation Professionals that advocates providing safe, reliable vehicles and modifications to enhance accessibility for all people. It is the only association that promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled people. Since they are non-profit, their members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

No two people with a disability are exactly the same. NMEDA Dealers and Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers can help one get the right driving solution customized to a specific lifestyle and needs. Dealers are the members who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications for disabled people. The QAP is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. It is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality.

People with disabilities sometimes feel unworthy. NMEDA helps the elderly and the disabled to get back onto the road of independence.

my verdict: shrek forever after

Shrek Forever After

We were supposed to watch Ironman and try out Winema last Thursday. But as soon as my son's eyes made contact with "Shrek" in the movie list, I found myself saying "2 tickets for Shrek, please" to the cashier.

Yes, one will indeed learn something valuable at the end of the movie. But overall, this fourth film in the franchise, will not get my blockbuster-seal-of-approval. I was expecting a lot more, especially since this is the last Shrek film.

The "funny moments" in the movie were not that funny anymore. Why? All were already shown in the trailer.

I hope they change their mind and make another film in the franchise. I love all previous Shrek movies and this last one definitely disappointed me so much.

I salute the small business owners and entrepreneurs that I have met here on the web. I have been blogging for a year already and I have created a new blog http://www.currentraves.com.

No posts yet because I just created it. Still looking for online stores to feature. Please email your website/webstore and a short introduction on your products and services at rjb2001@gmail.com. If you can also send the link to your best seller, I will feature it on the "hot new products" on the footer of the blog.

Will also extensively advertise your store on facebook/twitter/plurk.

top web store directory

This is my way of helping online entrepreneurs (especially to my blogger friends) "announce" their presence on the web.

Should I vote or not? Having second thoughts. I don't think they will be able to fix the PCOS machine problem less than a week before the elections. Need to be optimistic though. I might still vote.

Museo Pambata Art is Cool...the verdict

My son attended the 8 (1.5 hours) days Basic Art workshop at Museo Pambata. The said workshop is for kids 4-8 years old.

My verdict: such a waste of money. He learned nothing at all, zero acquired art knowledge. This art workshop should be given to kids who have not enrolled in pre-school yet. Take note: HAVE NOT, which means from 0 to 2 years old.

That is an example of what the kids did. Folded a piece of paper and dipped it in different colors of paint. When they unfold it, ta-da! different patterns and designs.

I have yet to tell Museo that yes,  this is acceptable to parents of 4-6 year old enrollees. But for those who are older, even the kids say that this is boring! Will have to ask them to send the pictures during the workshop and culminating activities first.

The teacher though is good. He's a Children's book illustrator.

Will not enroll my son in Advanced class next year.
